Sarver Road crash downs lines, leads to airlift for 1 victim

On Behalf of | Sep 21, 2020 | Truck Accidents

When large trucks are around other vehicles, the drivers have to be extremely cautious. A large-truck collision could lead to serious injuries or deaths.

That’s why it’s so unfortunate when semi-truck crashes happen. Smaller vehicles have little protection against the weight and force of a semi, so the people inside could be trapped or crushed.

Take for example this crash out of Butler County. According to news from Sept. 11, a driver had to be flown to the hospital after being involved in a crash with a semi. The crash not only resulted in at least one person’s injuries but also the closure of Sarver Road.

911 dispatchers reported that the collision happened at around 1:16 p.m., and a driver was found to be entrapped inside the smaller vehicle. Emergency teams flew the driver to the hospital, but there has been no news about the person’s condition.

The authorities have not released information on the cause of the crash, but they did report that several live wires were downed because of the collision. Sarver Road was closed while workers repaired the lines and cleared the scene.

This situation is just one example of how a crash can affect many people’s lives. If you have been involved in a crash in the past, or if you’re dealing with injuries from one now, know that you have the right to pursue a claim against any driver who makes errors or is negligent. If they cause a crash that leads to your injuries, then they should be held accountable for their actions.
